Chief Financial Officer - Consumer Packaged Goods
Thomas McCorry has had an accomplished career at Constellation Brands, where he contributed to the company's growth over more than 20 years. Constellation, a global beer, wine, and spirits leader, is home to well-known brands such as Corona, Modelo, and Robert Mondavi. He held key leadership roles throughout his time with the company, consistently providing financial expertise and strategic insight that helped the company expand its portfolio and maintain strong economic performance.
Starting with Constellation in 2004, McCorry quickly moved through various positions, ultimately becoming Vice President of Global Accounting. In this role, he managed the company's global accounting processes, improving the timeliness and quality of financial reporting. He reduced the time needed to close financial reports by eight days and created more efficient global cash flow reporting processes, cutting preparation time by an additional 10 days. His leadership ensured improved operational efficiency and more robust internal controls.
In 2012, McCorry took on a new challenge as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Wine & Spirits division, overseeing financial strategy for the division's $2.7 billion profit business. In his subsequent role as Vice President of Commercial Finance, he continued to build on this success, where he implemented a zero-based budgeting process and centralized non-price investments. These efforts improved financial visibility, aligned the organization's commercial priorities, and enhanced operational efficiency.
From 2021 to 2023, McCorry served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Beer Division, managing an $8 billion revenue business. He led initiatives to optimize capital investments and improve cost efficiency, resulting in reduced capacity investments of $1.5 billion over three years, strengthening the division's overall financial health.
Before joining Constellation, McCorry worked for seven years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is committed to giving back to the community, establishing a scholarship fund at his alma mater, SUNY Geneseo, and contributing to various charitable organizations.
Thomas McCorry holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo, is a Certified Public Accountant, and completed an Executive Development Program at Dartmouth College in 2012. Outside work, he enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his family and their yellow lab, Rocky.
